Town of Milestone

Milestone was named in honor of C.W. Milestone who was the superintendent of the New Soo Line Extension in 1893.  Milestone became incorporated in 1906.  The town is situated just 56 kms from Regina, 60 kms from Weyburn, 72 kms from Moose Jaw and 112 kms from the U.S. Port of Entry.  The region is known as the bread basket of the world.
